Specification

Sphere of application
It is intended for primary treatment of base layers to harden them and improve adhesive properties and also to simplify application of decorative structured paints and stuccos indoors and outdoors. It is recommended for application on plastered surfaces, brick, concrete and gypsum surfaces, chip wood board, MDF, gypsum board, plywood.
Tinting
It can be tinted manually with Pigment Concentrate Farbex Color, other waterborne coloring pastes or with a coloring machine acc. to NCS color range and others.

Application instruction

1. Preliminary preparation
Uncoated surface: clean it of fragile coats till hard base surface. Remove dust, oil, grease and other dirt.
Freshly applied coats of plaster shall not be treated during 2-4 weeks.
Previously coated surface: Clean thoroughly the surface from old loose coats (peeled paint or varnish) in a manual (a wire brush or a scraper), thermal (a hot air dryer, infrared radiation) or chemical (paint removing products) way. Remove all kinds of dirt. Surfaces, previously coated with alkyd or oil enamel, shall be sandpapered. Then treat the surface as the uncoated one.
Non-significant defects of mineral surfaces shall be corrected with Finishing putty TM Farbex. Then sandpaper the surface.
It is recommended to treat the surface with Antiseptic product TM Farbex for protection against mould and fungi.
2. Priming
Previously treated mineral and wooden surfaces need no undercoating.
Mineral surfaces, which were not treated previously, shall be undercoated with acrylic deep-penetrating primer TM Farbex.
Wooden surfaces, which were not treated previously, shall be undercoated with acrylic wood-protective primer TM Maxima.
3. Applying
Stir thoroughly before use. Paint-primer is ready to use and needs no diluting. Application shall be performed at the temperature from + 5 °С till + 35 °С and relative air humidity of less than 80%.
Do not apply the paint under direct sunlight, strong wind, frost and precipitation. The surface shall not be affected with precipitation or subzero temperatures for 24 hours after the coat is applied.
Subsequent works shall be performed in 24 hours.
