Sphere of application
It is intended for the initial treatment of various types of surfaces to increase their adhesion and simplify the application of gypsum, lime-gypsum, lime-cement, sand-cement and polymer plasters, paints, putties, and adhesives for tiles and other adhesives. For exterior and interior use. It is applied on any mineral surface, as well as on plywood, fiberboard, chipboard, OSB, ceramic tiles, glass, surfaces that are painted with alkyd and oil paints, surfaces with elements of PVC plastic, galvanized steel, undercoated iron. It can be used as a bonding layer for cladding using the tile-to-tile method.
Tinting
It can be tinted manually with Pigment Concentrate Farbex Color, other waterborne coloring pastes or with a coloring machine acc. to NCS color range and others.

Application instruction

1. Surface preparation
Uncoated surface: сlean it from fragile surfaces till it's hard. Remove dust, oil, grease and other dirt.
Previously coated surface: clean thoroughly the surface from old loose coatings (paint or varnish) manually with a wire brush or a scraper, thermally with a hot air dryer, infrared radiation or chemically with paint removing products. The surface shall be cleaned from different dirt. Surfaces, previously coated with alkyd or oily enamels, shall be sandpapered. After that, the surface is treated as an uncoated surface.
Non-significant defects of the mineral surface shall be corrected with Finishing Putty TM Farbex. Corrected areas shall be sandpapered after.
It is recommended to treat the surface with Antiseptic product TM Farbex for protection against mould and fungi.
2. Priming
Previously coated mineral and wooden surfaces do not require undercoating.
Previously non-treated absorbing mineral surfaces shall be undercoated with acrylic deep-penetrating primer concentrate Super Base 1:4 TM Farbex.
Previously non-treated wooden surfaces shall be undercoated with acrylic wood-protective primer TM Maxima.
3. Applying
Stir thoroughly before application. The application shall be performed at the temperature of air and surface from + 5 °С to +35 °С and relative air humidity up to 80%.
Do not apply the paint under direct sunlight, strong wind, frost and precipitation. After the coating is applied, it shall not be affected by precipitation and sub-zero temperatures until it is covered with some finishing coat.
Next stage of finishing works shall be performed in 24 hours.
4. Tool cleaning
When application is finished rinse the tools with water thoroughly.
