Deep-penetrating silicone primer

- it penetrates deeply and hardens the base surface
- it lessens water permeability of the base surface without significant effect to vapor permeability of a complex coating.
Sphere of application
It is intended for improving adhesion, hardening and leveling of absorption of different surfaces (bricks, concrete, slag block, concrete stuccos, chip wood boards, MDF, gypsum boards and other porous surfaces) before performing of any finishing works with a plaster or putty, coating with acrylic or silicon waterborne products inside and outside.

Application instruction

1. Surface preparation
The surface shall be dry, hard and without significant damages. It shall be clean of chalk and lime chalk whitewash, oil, bitumen and other dirt. Existing efflorescences, fragile and dirty areas shall be cleaned with a wire brush (a spatula) or with a polishing machine. Remove abrasive dust.
Non-significant defects of mineral surface shall be corrected with Finishing Putty TM Farbex. Polish the surface after that and remove the dust.
It is recommended to treat the surface with Antiseptic product TM Farbex for protection against mould and fungi.
Previously coated surfaces need no undercoating.
2. Applying
Stir thoroughly the primer before use.
The primer shall be applied evenly with a brush, a roller or a spraying gun. The temperature of air and the surface, which shall be undercoated, shall be from +5 °С till +35 °С and relative air humidity lower than 80%. Extremely absorbing surfaces shall be treated with the primer twice with intermediate drying of 1 hour.
Do not undercoat under direct sunlight, strong wind, frost or precipitation. The undercoated surface shall not be affected by precipitation or subzero temperatures before applying the finishing coating.
All subsequent works shall be performed not before 5-6 hours after the last coat of primer has been applied.
3. Tool cleaning
Clean tools with water after application. Do not let them dry.
