Specification
Adhesion primer Quartz Primer has high adhesion to the base of the surface. This product is intended for easier application and structuring of decorative materials. It creates a vapor-permeable coating that resistants water, frost, precipitation, and direct sunlight.
Sphere of application
The product is intended for preliminary treatment of surfaces and allowed to improve adhesion. It simplifies the application of structural paints, decorative stuccos, etc. For indoors and outdoors.
Quartz Primer applies on different mineral ( concrete, brick, stucco, filler, gypsum bases) and other surfaces ( plywood, wood chipboards, MDF). It is used for insulation of facades, including preservation of facades in the winter period and the case of self-dependent decorating coating.
Tinting
It can be tinted manually with Pigment Concentrate Farbex Color, other waterborne coloring pastes, or with a coloring machine acc. to NCS color range and others.
It is recommended to use products from one batch to avoid the differences in shades of color.
Modifications in the technical properties of products are allowed after tinting.

Color
Application instruction
1. Surface preparation
Uncoated surfaces: сlean thoroughly from fragile coatings, dust, oil, grease, and other dirt.
Previously coated surfaces: clean the surface thoroughly from old loose coatings and from different dirties.
Insignificant defects of the mineral surface shall be corrected with finishing plaster TM Farbex and then polish.
It is recommended to treat the surface with the antiseptic solution for mineral surfaces TM Farbex for protection against fungi and mould.
2. Priming
Previously treated mineral and wooden surfaces need no undercoating.
Mineral surfaces, which were not treated previously, shall be undercoated with acrylic deep-penetrating primer TM Farbex or TM Maxima.
Wooden surfaces, which were not treated previously, shall be undercoated with acrylic wood-protective primer TM Maxima.
3. Applying
Stir thoroughly before use. The product is ready to use and does not need a dilution.
The temperature of air and the surface under application shall be from +5 ° С till +35 ° С, maximal relative air humidity shall be 80%.
Do not apply the product under direct sunlight, strong wind, frost, and precipitation.
The surface shall not be affected by precipitation or subzero temperatures for 24 hours after the coat is applied.
Subsequent works shall be performed in 24 hours.
4. Tool cleaning
Clean tools with water after application. Do not let them dry. Dry product shall be removed from the tools in mechanical way.
