Deep-penetrating water dispersion acrylic primer concentrate «Super Base 1:4»
Specification
- it penetrates deeply and hardens the base surface
- it improves adhesion of building products to the base layers
- it lessens the consumption of paints and extends the life period of the paint product
Sphere of application
It is intended for improving adhesion to the different surfaces (except metal) before finishing works and coating with waterborne paints, gluing of wallpapers, application of tile, setting of parquet and other floorings indoors and outdoors.

Application instruction

1. Surface preparation
The surface shall be dry, hard and without significant damages. It shall be clean of chalk and lime-chalk whitewash, oil, bitumen and other dirt. Existing efflorescence, loose and dirty areas shall be cleaned with a wire brush (a spatula) or in a mechanical way. Remove abrasive dust.
Non-significant defects of mineral surfaces shall be corrected with Finishing Putty TM Farbex. Polish the surface after that and remove abrasive dust.
It is recommended to treat the surface with Antiseptic TM Farbex to protect is against mould and fungi.
Previously coated surfaces require no undercoating.
2. Applying
Depending on the type of surface, it is recommended to stir the primer with water in ratio stated in the schedule:

Apply the primer evenly with a brush, a roller or a spraying gun on the surface. The temperature of the surface, which you want to undercoat, and air shall be from +5 °С till +35 °С and relative air humidity lower than 80%.
Do not undercoat under direct sunlight, strong wind, frost and precipitation. The Undercoated surface shall not be affected with direct sunlight, precipitation, subzero temperatures till the finishing layer is applied.
The subsequent works shall be performed not before then 4 hours after the last coat of the primer has been applied.
3. Tool cleaning
Clean tools with water after application. Do not let them dry.
