It is intended for protective and decorative coating of wood, wooden products, and constructions. It is recommended for application on wooden window frames, doors, storm windows, balconies, fences, etc.
The surface under application shall be dry (Max. RH 20%), carefully cleaned from dirt, grease, dust, mould, fungi, etc.
Old existing coat on the surface (paint or woodcare product) shall be completely removed mechanically (with a scraper or a brush), thermally (with a hot air dryer, infrared radiation), or chemically (with paint removing products).
Polish the surface with abrasive cloth. Remove abrasive dust.
Coat new and old wooden surface, which are cleaned from old paint coats, with woodprotective primer TM "Delfi" to providing the best protective effect and solid color.
Make sure that the wooden surface is clean and dry before application of the primer.
Treat the edges of wooden products more thoroughly, make them fully soaked.
Make sure that the undercoated surface is dry enough before applying a finishing coat.
Wood glazing is ready to use. Dilute it with white spirit or solvent ТМ "DekArt" if necessary.
Apply with 1-2 layers with intermediate polishing. If a richer color is required, it is possible to apply the third layer. Every next layer makes the color more intense.
Wood glazing shall be applied on the surface with one continuous layer along the fibers of the wood and avoid partial lapping. Thorough processing of end faces improves their moisture resistance.
Drying period on one layer at temperature 23 ± 2 ºС and relative humidity of 50 ± 5% is 24 hours. The next layer may be applied only in 24 hours.
Application shall be performed at air and surface temperature from +10 ºС to +30 ºС and relative humidity less than 85%. Avoid applicating under wet or windy conditions and direct sunlight.
When calculating the area to be painted, you need to subtract the area that will not be painted. (windows, doors, etc.)
Paint consumption may vary depending on dilution and uniformity of application of the paint.
