Paint for walls and ceilings
Snow-white paint with a high application rate. Due to its high degree of whiteness, it visually enlightens space. It doesn't yellow through the time. It creates matt coating which lets the walls "breathe" well. It is applied easily, doesn't run and splash while applicating. It is resistant to wet cleaning (wet abrasion resistance - 4 class acc. to DSTU EN 13300).
It is intended for interior coating of all mineral (mortar and lime-mortar plaster, finishing plaster, brick, concrete), gypsum and wooden surfaces, wallpaper and fiberglass. It is recommended for coating of walls and ceilings in dry spaces with moderate exploitation load: living, administrative spaces, medical, infant and educational establishments, spaces of catering and industrial enterprises.
It is intended for use as a single white coating or for tinting in pastel colors.
It is tinted manually with pigment concentrate Farbex Color (maximum 1% or 1 bottle of 10 liters of paint), other water-based tinting pastes (maximum 1% of the total weight of the paint), or in tinting machines according to NCO color rates and others. When you tint the paint with foreign products, tinting machines, or catalogs, it is necessary to make a test tinting and coating.
To avoid differences in color shades, when you apply a finishing coat, we recommend using the product of the same batch (as the paint, so the colorant). Joint surfaces of the same color must also be coated with the products of one batch. In case you use products of different batches, they must be mixed.
Make a test coating on a small area of the surface to check the correspondence of the tinted paint to the chosen color.
We do not recommend diluting the paint for the finishing coat.
After tinting, insignificant deviations in technical data for the product are allowed.
The hint: When you choose a color, take into account the lighting in the premises. Warm or cold lights provide a different perception of the same color.

The condition for receiving a desired result is following directions for using the paint product and preparing the surface.
The surface is prepared according to DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013 and DSTU-N B B.2.6-212:2016.
The surface must be dry – the humidity of the surface on all stages of preparation and paint works must be less than 5% for cement and cement-sand surfaces and less than 1% for gypsum ones.
The surface must be clean from chalk and lime whitewashings, grease and oily stains, and other contaminations, efflorescence, dust (including abrasive dust after polishing plasters and stuccos), old paint products and wallpapers (which stick to the surface not secure), polymer adhesives, and runs of construction mortars or composites.
Mineral surfaces must be hard, without fragile parts or edges. The base materials like plaster, stucco, insulating or adhesive elements must be completely dry and be ready for priming and coating with acrylic water-based products.
Parts of the surface infected with mould or fungi must be removed: first mechanically and then treated with antiseptic for mineral surfaces TM Farbex.
Remove contaminations, infections, old coatings, or fragile parts with a wire brush, a spatula, a scratcher or with a polisher.
Correct appeared defects with Plaster TM Farbex (depending on the character of the defects).
Existing metal elements in the base surface or those that will be used after painting must be made of galvanized or stainless steel. When you use iron elements, they must be initially protected against corrosion with special primers or other products.
Check the compatibility of the products on a small area following technical recommendations or specialists’ consultation before you use other products (an adhesive, an antiseptic, a plaster, etc.).
Follow the directions precisely (especially drying period and subsequent treatment) when further priming and painting construction mortars or products. For example, fresh cement plasters must not be treated for 28 days.
Providing maximum exploitation resistance and better decorative effect, depending on the type of surface, it must be primed:
Wooden porous surfaces – with acrylic wood-protective primer TM Maxima. Attention! The primer raises the wood fibers, that is why the surface must be polished before applying the paint.
Mineral surfaces – with acrylic deep-penetrating primer TM Farbex.
Hard types of OSB, wood chip boards, fiber boards, wallpapers, hard old paint coatings need no priming before applying the paint.
Take into account recommendations about priming construction mortars or products. If necessary, call the specialists of POLYSAN.
Before applying the paint, make sure that the surface is dry enough after preparation.
The paint is ready to use. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Filter it and dilute with water if necessary. Abnormal dilution spoils the quality of the coating!
Apply the paint in 2 coats. Apply a subsequent coat when the previous one is fully dry, but not before 2 hours. Very porous, rough, or highly contrasted surfaces may demand more coats and consumption of the paint. Precise consumption rate is determined by text applying on a small area.
We recommend continuously applying in one direction with the same consumption. Carry out the application “from edge to edge (from corner to corner)” or within the limits of the decorative element without breaks. When you carry out an application on a large area and/or during a long period, we recommend stirring the paint from time to time. We do not recommend keeping the container with the paint open for a long period.
Carry out the application at the temperature of the air and the surface from + 5 ºС until +35 ºС and relative air humidity less than 80 %. Provide appropriate ventilation when applying and drying the paint. The paint obtains complete hardness and resistance to mechanical load after 14 days.

The tools must be recommended for water-based products.
When you apply with a roller, we recommend using a cuvette for homogeneous wetting of the tool. Attention! For a smoother coating, we recommend using a roller with a short nap.
When you apply by a spraying method, follow the instructions for exploitation. Airless spraying is more preferable. The reason is that when you use pneumatic spraying, you have to dilute the product, and often diluting can be on the maximum recommended limit, which can occur, lessening the thickness of the coating and creating runs.
For a quality coating, you must obtain painting skills, especially if you use a professional instrument.
Compatibility with other coatings
Depending on the exploitation conditions, it can be used with different primers and finishing coatings. The examples are stated further. Call the specialists of POLYSAN to receive more detailed recommendations.
Previous coating – acrylic water-based products.
Subsequent coating – acrylic water-based products.
Product compatibility is recommended to be tested on a small area of the surface.
Clean tools with water after application. Do not let them dry. The dry product shall be removed from the tools in a mechanical way.
The fact is that coating of a room with waterborne paints shall be started from the ceiling. There is certain sequence of work you should keep: At the beginning, we must prepare the surface:: 1. Cleaning It is necessary to …
When calculating the area to be painted, you need to subtract the area that will not be painted. (windows, doors, etc.)
Paint consumption may vary depending on dilution and uniformity of application of the paint.
