Application instruction

Surface preparation

The surface under application must be dry (humidity less than 20%), and must not contain fungus, blue stain, rot or mould.

Remove resin in snub spots mechanically or using white spirit.

Old coats (paint or woodcare product) shall be completely removed mechanically (with a scraper or a brush), thermally (with a dryer, infrared emission), or chemically (with paint removal agents).

Avoid cleaning methods, which can damage wood (e.g. air sand blower).

Polish the surface, remove dust.

Stir the primer thoroughly before use. It is ready to use. Apply with a brush, a roller or a spraying gun. Wooden surface shall be undercoated with 1-2 layers for maximal protective effect. Edges of wood shall be coated maximal thoroughly. Works must be conducted at air and surface temperature not less than +10ºС. Drying period of one layer at temperature  23 ± 2 ºС and humidity 50 ± 5% is 5 hours. The next layer must be applied only after 5 hours. If undercoating horizontal surface and increasing consumption of the primer, complete drying of the coat will take longer. Avoid coating under wet or windy conditions.

Tool cleaning

Clean tools with a solvent after application. Dry primer may be removed only mechanically.
