AntiRust metal enamel is intended for protection against corrosion decorating finishing of metal surfces and also for wooden surfaces indoors and outdoors.
It is recommended to make the surface dry and carefully clean it from dust, grease and rests of salt and other dirt for more quality coating.
Clean metal surfaces shall be treated with sandpaper for better adhesion, abrasive dust shall be removed and clean surface shall be degreesed with a solvent.
Previously coated metal surfaces shall be cleaned from loose paint products and also coats with weak adhesion shall be removed till hard surface mechanically (a scraper, a wire brush), thermally (hot air fan, IR radiation) or chemically (paint removing solutions). Use chemical solution for rust removing before mechanical removing for the best removing of rust. Clean the surface thoroughly from salt depositions and otehr dirt with a wire brush or hard-prained sand paper. Remove abrasive dust and degrease the surface with a solvent.
Previously coated wooden surfaces shall be cleaned from loose paint products and also coats with weak adhesion shall be removed till hard surface mechanically (a scraper, a wire brush), thermally (hot air fan, IR radiation) or chemically (paint removing solutions). Treat the surface with a sandpaper and remove abrasive dust.
The enamel is ready to use.
Stir thoroughly the enamel before use.
Apply the enamel: with a brush, a short nap roller, a spraying gun (distance from the surface is 15-20 cm, pressure is 2 atm.) - 1-2 thin coats. It is recommended to apply 2 coats to achieve optimal properties of the surface.
Dilute the enamel with odorless dilutant TM Maxima or white spirit, solvent and their solution if necessary but max. 10% of the total weight of the product if the application is performed with a brush or a roller and max. 30% of the total weight of the enamel of the application is performed with a spraying gun.
Application shall be performed at the temperature of air and the surface is from + 10 °С till + 25 °С, and maximal air humidity of 85%.
Do not perform application in windy or wet weather!
Drying period of one layer of enamel at the temperature of the surface and air (20±2 )˚С and relative air humidity (65±5) % - 8 hours. The next layer is applyed in 24 hours. Low temperature and high humidity can endure drying period!
When calculating the area to be painted, you need to subtract the area that will not be painted. (windows, doors, etc.)
Paint consumption may vary depending on dilution and uniformity of application of the paint.
